Follow up for Patients with Sarcoma

Regular follow-up after treatment for a sarcoma is essential.

This will take the form of visits to combined MDT clinics or peripheral hospital clinics

During these follow-up visits both clinical and radiology assessments will take place.

The radiology may include CT, MRI or simple Chest X-rays.

The frequency of visit and investigations ordered will depend upon the grade of tumour excised.

The Combined Sarcoma Outpatient Clinic is held in the Oncology Department on this diagram.

Car park C is the closest. The department can be entered from the peripheral road in the bottom right hand former of the site
